At FITUR 2023, during the presentation of the Dominican Republic Pavilion, The President of Grupo
Globalia and Aireuropa Mr. Pepe Hidalgo shared some first-hand news. Like new direct flights
between Santo Domingo and NYC as well as an increase of flights from Europe.
Attilio Perna had the opportunity to share with Minister David Collado a friendly talk about the new
destinations at D.R such as Miches and Pedernales, as well as to share an investment proposal
from a Turkish and Eurasian group in the Hospitality sector. In addition, during this talk they had the
opportunity to discuss the possibility of opening a new flight route.
