Dubai luxury hotel firm Five to take VIP A220 from Comlux

Dubai-based hotel and resort group Five is acquiring an Airbus A220 business jet from Switzerland’s Comlux Group.

The twinjet – branded as the ACJ TwoTwenty – will be fitted with a VIP cabin interior specified by Five from January next year, and will enter into service with the company in 2023.

Five says the jet, powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G engines, will be placed on the Maltese registry as 9H-FIVE and based at Dubai World Central airport. The company unveiled the agreement during the Dubai air show. Five plans to configure the aircraft with 16 seats, an eight-person dining table, master suite with bed and shower, and a kitchen.

It will feature electro-chromatic window shades, and high-speed connectivity capabilities along with two 55in screens. “Five aims at providing its diverse and loyal customer base with a unique journey,” the company says. “This jet will traverse the entire globe, transporting guests in enviable style with an excess of entertainment options.”
